Hedychium spicatum is a ginger species native to China, the Himalayas, Myanmar and Thailand. Hedychium spicatum is smaller than many of the genus, growing to around 1 meter, with green leaves and large orange and white flowers. Hardy in most of the UK and flowering earlier than most. Another great addition to the jungle garden!
