‘Blue Emperor’ is a bold, regal hybrid agave with sculptural presence and brilliant colour contrast. This compact form features upright, lance-shaped leaves in a luminous steel-blue hue, each tipped with a dramatic black spine that sharpens the plant’s form and elegance. At 90cm tall and 60cm wide, it brings dramatic vertical structure without overwhelming a space.
Cold-hardy and heat-tolerant, ‘Blue Emperor’ is perfectly suited for water-wise landscapes in a range of climates—from low desert to temperate gardens. With its compact size, rich colour, and sharp silhouette, it makes a striking specimen in containers or small-scale xeric designs.
