Hardy, Hibiscus (moscheutos) Carousel series are new to horticulture and provide an exciting exotic splash of colour to any tropical style garden.
Our Hibiscus collection includes:
1 x Hibiscus 'Pink Candy' in a 9cm potDark purple foliage with light pink flowers with a deeper pink centre.
1 x Hibiscus 'Red Wine' in a 9cm potDark purple foliage with deep red flowers.
1 x Hibiscus 'Pink Passion' in a 9cm potDark purple foliage with red/pink flowers
All of these fabulous shrubs are Hardy to -15c and are very easy to grow. The dark attractive foliage sets off the massive blooms, which can be up to 15 to 20 cm across, which are produced in profusion in late summer.
These exotic shrubs can be planted in a sunny boarder or in a large patio pot. Soil needs to be kept moist and a regular liquid feed will keep the blooms coming. The plant dies back to the ground in winter, reappearing in spring with new stout stems.
We have had this cultivar on trial in our own garden and have been very impressed with the show it puts on every year.
