Opuntia polyacantha
Supplied in a 7cm pot

Native to North America, and very hardy if given proper drainage. O. polyacantha can have orange, yellow or pink/scarlet flowers. This selection is from scarlet flowered plants and plants offered are seed grown.
Grow in pots or in raised beds in extremely free draining substrate and position in full sun. Winter protection is advisable, pot grown plants should be moved under cover, while plants planted out should be covered to keep damp, wet weather away from the root zone.
Please note that the plants on offer are produced from seed and have a range of inital pad shapes.
