This spectacular, compact, clump-forming hardy perennial reaches up to 60cm tall. Great in sun or part shade as long as the soil is nutrient rich and moisture retentive. This Rodgersia features large textured leaves divided into veined, glossy leaflets, these emerge a bright reddish-bronze in spring, mature to a striking dark green in late summer, before finally take on attractive autumnal tints. In summer, tall sprays of bright reddish pink flowers are held above the foliage on vibrant red stems, making it an eye-catching addition to any garden.
