Paulownia tomentosa
Supplied in a 0.8 Ltr tree pot

RHS awarded AGM.

Known as the Princess Tree or Foxglove tree. This is a very fast growing deciduous tree from China to Korea, that if coppiced will produce huge heart shaped leaves, up to 30cm across.
If left to grow naturally this stunning tree will produce beautiful, fragrant, light lilac-purple flowers in large panicles. Ultimately this tree grows to 8-10 meters with a 8 meter spread.

If you want the big jungle leaf effect from your Paulownia, allow your plant to establish for at least a couple of years before coppicing in late March. For the biggest leaves remove all but a couple of the strongest side shoots.
