Protea  Compost.
 
Special formula compost for South African Protea, Leucadendron and other plants requiring phosphate free substrate. Formulated by Blue Nurseries Ltd Supplied with a pack of special slow release fertiliser with no phosphates. Mix slow release with compost before  use.
When potting up Protea use a pot that is slightly bigger than the previous pot. Water well but ensure that the pot drains quickly. Do not allow protea to dry out completely, but equally ensure that the plant is not waterlogged. Always keep your plant well ventilated and try to water with rain water when ever possible.
This compost is supplied in a zip lock bag and is mesured by Weight. 
A 1.5 kg bag of Protea compost approximately equals 2.5 litres of compost. This does vary slightly due to the moisture content of the various ingredients. This compost is mixed to order and dispatch times may be longer than with our other products. Please contact us if you have any questions.
