Supplied as a flowering size bulb in a 1litre pot.
Amarine belladiva is a relatively new addition to horticulture, being a successful cross between Amaryllis and Nerine. Like Nerine, it flowers late in October to early November on tall upright stems, with up to 10 large lily like flowers in shades of pink. An impressive addition to the garden in late summer.
Grow in well drained soil against a south facing wall or in large pots and protect overwinter in an unheated greenhouse. Plant with the neck of the bulb just above ground and expect little growth until late summer.
