Salvia coccinea
“Scarlet Sage”
Supplied in various pot sizes.

A stunning red flowering Salvia that we picked up from a local plant fare. It seems relatively resilient if given plenty of drainage and a position with full sun, however we treat as a Half Hardy perennial and lift from the boarders before the first frosts.
Dark green heart shaped foliage with classic red salvia flowers on 80cm stems. Flowers for us from mid summer to late autumn.

Full Sun
Well drained soil
RHS hardiness rating H3

Plants are supplied in various pot sizes, with their compost and are similar to the plants seen in pictures. Picture one and two shows the flowers on our planted specimen and is not the plant for sale.
