Echinacea pallida

Echinacea pallida is a tall coneflower, growing to about 1.2 meters. It’s distinctive pale pink flowers are large with long, linear, drooping petals that surround an orange-brown cone. A very delicate and attractive species Echinacea,  from the North American prairies.
Very attractive to butterflies. Requires a sunny position in moist well drained soil. We love growing this eye-catching perennial with grasses and other prairie plants or for something different, it also looks fantastic amongst our Agaves.
