Hedychium densiflorum ‘Assam Orange’

Hardy perennial ginger.
Supplied as a bare root rhizome with growing point. ( EX 1.5 litre pot April to May)

In late summer produces fragrant, deep orange flowers in very dense, bottlebrush spikes 20cm long.  This selection is larger than the species and probably the hardiest of all the gingers and a must for any jungle garden!
