Dahlia imperialis. ‘The Tree Dahlia’

This massive species ’Tree Dahlia’ grows to 3 meters in a single season. Great in jungle planting or a tropical planting scheme, with fantastic foliage.  Will flower if started early undercover and given a very sheltered sunny spot in the garden. Flowers are single and pinkish purple with orange centres and Bee friendly. As with all Dahlia needs lifting and storing over winter.
