This is the best collection of Banana plants we have ever offered. The collection contains 4 fantastic banana plants, a free pack of our specialist banana fertiliser and access to our handy cultivation guide. The plants included are the following:

Musa basjoo, considered to be the hardiest of all banana species available. Grows to 3-4 meters with massive leaves and occasionally flowers and fruits. Supplied as a plug plant

Musa Sikkimensis, also very hardy and a real stunner, with strong stripes on the leaves, more wind resistant than M.basjoo. Supplied as a plug plant

Musella lasiocarpa, ‘The Golden Lotus Banana’. Forms a clump of plants over time and can reach 1.5 meters high with a spread of nearly a meter. Flowers look like a lotus flower and are bright golden yellow. Supplied as a plug plant

Ensete ventricosum ‘Maurelii’, is a real fast growing jungle monster. Can grow to 6 meters, however in UK cultivation it rarely exceeds 4 meters. Huge paddle shaped leaves. Not hardy but easy to overwinter in a cool dark garage or frost free shed. Supplied as a plug plant

Plants are supplied in the sizes stated above, with their compost and are similar to the plants seen in pictures 6,7,8 and 9. Picture 1 shows the leaves on planted specimens and these are not the plant for sale. Pictures 2,3,4 and 5 show mature plants as an example of what to expect over time.
Please note that some leaves may need to be trimmed back for dispatch. This does not effect the heath of the plants. All these plants are fast growing and will very quickly recover from their journey to you.
 
The Banana fertiliser has been formulated by us specifically for Musa and it's relatives. Use as stated on the pack. Larger 300gram packs are available from this website.
